How to increase efficiency in waste management, i.e. how to get more out of the collected waste stream? This is the keynote of the second edition of the conference "Good practices in waste management. Let's talk about... VOL.2", which will take place during the POLECO International Environmental Protection Fair on October 17-19, 2023 in Poznań.

Effective management of raw materials from waste equipment, batteries and packaging not only contributes to the security of raw materials, but also helps to achieve the goals of sustainable development and environmental protection, which is essential for long-term social and economic prosperity. As society's environmental awareness grows, this approach to resource management becomes more and more crucial.

During the debate, we will discuss how to use SCT as a tool to support the greening of transport and changes in thinking about urban space, while avoiding accusations of making it a privilege for the rich or an unnecessary ball and chain for the municipal services sector.
