Director of the legal, internal audit, and quality systems management department at a multinational waste management corporation; doctoral degree in law from the Institute of Law Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw; legal expert at the Polish Chamber of Waste Management and the Industrial and Commercial Chamber of Scrap Management; member of Polish and EU expert committees and working groups on recycling and waste management; author of numerous publications on environmental law, in particular water law and waste management.

Joanna Leoniewska-Gogol
As part of the Sustainability & Infrastructure team, she provides advisory services to both the public and private sectors in the area of the circular economy, with a focus on identifying the link between economically efficient and environmentally responsible waste management.
She advises businesses on adapting to national and EU policies and regulations, assessing the environmental impact of their activities. She specializes in developing sustainable, circular business models and transformation strategies towards a circular economy, including in the context of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
She also supports companies in adapting their IT systems to enable effective management and monitoring of implemented circular economy solutions and initiatives.
She cooperates across the value chain with organizations such as Confederation Lewiatan and the Polish Chamber of Commerce (Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza).
Adam Małyszko
Adam Małyszko
An entrepreneur since 1983 and a nationally and internationally recognized expert in the field of end-of-life vehicle recycling and waste management more broadly. Co-founder and, for the past 21 years, President of the Forum for Automotive Recycling Association (FORS). An active member of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Scrap Management Sector. Member of Group 7, “Circular Economy – Water, Mineral Resources and Waste,” within the National Smart Specializations initiative operating under the Ministry of Development and Technology. He has initiated numerous practical and legislative solutions in the field of vehicle recycling and other waste streams. He is the author of numerous industry articles published in Poland and abroad. Creator of the ARES – Ambit Recykling System, a management system for vehicle dismantling stations. Member of several Working Groups operating under the Polish Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (Rzecznik Małych i Średnich Przedsiębiorców).
In 2024, he was awarded the Honorary Badge of Merit for the Development of the Economy of the Republic of Poland.
In 2025, he was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland, conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland.
Agnieszka Misiejuk

An attorney-at-law running an individual legal practice focused on providing comprehensive legal services to businesses in administrative, commercial, civil and employment law matters. Specializes in environmental protection law and waste management, including end-of-life vehicles. Has many years of experience representing businesses before public administration authorities, including in inspection and control proceedings, as well as extensive litigation experience, representing clients before civil courts at all levels and administrative courts. Cooperates with non-governmental organizations, providing legal advice and organizing professional training. She has been associated with the Forum for Automotive Recycling Association (FORS) for more than a decade and has served as Vice-President of the Board since 2011.

dr Martyna Robakowska
An environmental lawyer working at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Environment (DG ENV), within the Directorate for Circular Economy, in the Waste to Resources Unit. She is a member of the team working on end-of-life vehicles, which prepared the draft regulation on circular design requirements for vehicles and the management of end-of-life vehicles.
She holds a PhD in Law, having defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Waste as an Object of Civil-Law Transactions from the Perspective of Implementing the Circular Economy”. It is the first study in Polish legal literature to examine waste-related issues also from the perspective of civil law and to place them within the broader concept of the circular economy. In her work, she explains complex legal issues in an accessible manner, analyzing EU, Polish and German legislation on waste management, as well as the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) and administrative courts. The publication reflects the legal framework as of 1 May 2025.
Agnieszka Rozmus-Rowińska

A manager with over a decade’s experience in managing the Polish branch of the Spanish company Gescrap, which provides services to a wide range of industrial sectors that generate metal waste as part of their production processes. She is involved in the group’s international development and in training future managers for newly established branches.
Since 2021, she has also been responsible for the company’s Lithuanian branch.
Chair of the IPHGZ Council from 2019 to 2020, and currently Vice-Chair of the Chamber’s Council. She is also actively involved in the Polish-Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
She has participated in numerous congresses and conferences on waste management, the circular economy, net zero waste and closed-loop systems, and has also taken part in working groups organised by the international organisations BIR and EuRIC.

During last several years active as expert speaker at “Poleco” in Poznań, “Eko-Tech” in Kielce, “Let’s paper the world” in Sofia, “Sustainability in Packaging” in Barcelona, “Lubuski Kongres Gospodarczy” in Zielona Góra and at many panel discussions regarding steel scrap market situation, recycling industry challenges and opportunities, ESG, Circular Economy. Steel scrap industry representative in parliamentary committee and project team member for steel industry development. Author of many articles about scrap market situation published at industry portals.
