PLN 24 million in funding for environmental monitoring projects

The aim of the programme co-funded by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management is to increase resilience to climate change and potential natural disasters

The call is being made under the Climate Change Adaptation, Disaster Prevention measure of the FEnIKS 2021-2027 programme.

The programme is aimed at the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection.

In the call opened by NFOŚiGW, funding can be granted to projects including investments in the field of environmental monitoring, such as electromagnetic field monitoring, water monitoring, coastal monitoring and soil and ground monitoring.

Subsidies can be granted for the purchase of specialised measuring and research equipment and materials, e.g:

equipment for analysis and preparation of water samples
mobile laboratories (e.g. for sampling, measurements, analysis)
unmanned vessels (aerial and floating) for the installation of metering and monitoring modules.
The maximum level of project co-financing is 79.71% of the eligible expenditure. The programme budget is PLN 24 million. Funding was provided under Measure 2.4 Adaptation to climate change, disaster prevention (project type: Development of environmental monitoring (including electromagnetic field monitoring, water monitoring, coastal monitoring and soil and ground monitoring)).

The non-competitive call runs from 2 January 2025 to 31 March 2025.
