The Minister for Climate and Environment has presented 44 Badges of Honour for Merit to the Environment and Climate Protection.

- To defend nature, we must be its voice. We are confronted with difficult weather events and climate change, which is unfortunately accelerating. Thanks to your actions, we can act more efficiently and decisively, for which we are extremely grateful,’ said the Minister for Climate and Environment, Paulina Hennig-Kloska, opening the ceremony.

The awards were presented by the Chief Conservator of Nature, Deputy Minister for Climate and Environment Mikołaj Dorożała.

- The Ministry of Climate and Environment strives to leave a better Earth for future generations. Not one on which it is only possible to survive, but also to live comfortably. It is you who recognise the problems, who tell us what is important, who educate the public. For all these activities, we sincerely thank you! - concluded Deputy Minister Dorożała.
